Community First Aid
Community First Aid Day
This full-day course is designed for anyone who wants to feel more confident in an emergency. You don’t need any previous experience or medical knowledge, just a willingness to learn. Everything is hands-on and practical, led by a qualified paramedic who’ll guide you through each skill at a comfortable pace.
What’s covered:
Morning:
- Introduction to emergency response
- The primary survey: Danger, Response, Airway, Breathing, Circulation (DRABC)
- CPR and using a defibrillator (AED)
- Helping someone who’s choking
Afternoon:
- Managing serious bleeding
- Recognising and responding to shock
- What to do if someone has a seizure
- Additional topics as time allows
Pricing:
- £45 per person – full day + certificate
- £65 per person – full day plus a nationally recognised Level 3 Emergency First Aid at Work award
Groups are kept small to make sure everyone gets plenty of hands-on practice. By the end of the day, you’ll know what to do, and more importantly, you’ll feel ready to do it.
